Bangladesh add Nasum to ODI squad for WI series
The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Sunday (October 19, 2025 ) that they have included left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed in the ODI squad for the ongoing series against the West Indies.
The 30-year-old Nasum, who has taken 16 wickets in 18 ODIs at an economy of 4.48, had last appeared in an ODI in December 2024.
In the series opener, spinners from both sides played a dominant role in the low and slow surface prepared at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday and that has likely prompted Nasum's addition.
